David Maasbach is de pastor van het Capitol Evangelie Centrum in Den Haag. Ook heeft God hem de leiding toevertrouwd over het wereldwijde zendingswerk van de Stichting Johan Maasbach Wereldzending. Biografie
David Maasbach, geboren te Gouda in 1959, is de oudste zoon van de bekende evangelist Johan Maasbach en zijn vrouw Willy. Als jonge man verliet David de grafische school om full-time te gaan werken in de drukkerij van het wereldwijde zendingswerk van de Stichting Johan Maasbach Wereldzending te Den Haag. Hij werd door de jaren heen een bekwame drukker en heeft vele christelijke boeken, traktaten, folders en dergelijke uit de persen laten rollen.
Na ongeveer acht jaar werd hij op allerlei andere afdelingen binnen het het zendingswerk ingezet. Hij werkte heel hard en deed veel ervaring op. David was dankbaar dat hij van zijn moeder, een vrouw van gebed, geleerd had om volhardend te bidden en dat zijn vader hem leerde om in moeilijke omstandigheden onafgeleid en vol geloof door te gaan in de kracht van de Heer. Door de weg van vernedering en gehoorzaamheid niet te schuwen zegende God David. In dezelfde tijd diende hij in de gemeente (Kerk) waar zijn vader voorging: het Capitol Evangelie Centrum in Den Haag. Doordat David ook in de kleine dingen getrouw was, kon God hem ook voor grotere dingen gebruiken.
Na zich lange tijd met hart en ziel te hebben ingezet voor de jeugd groeide hij toe naar het medevoorgangerschap met zijn vader. In 1988 trouwde hij met Regina van de Groep en God schonk hun drie prachtige kinderen: Queeny Jesselyn, Priscilla Alissa en John Henry. In 1993 leidde God Evangelist Johan maasbach ertoe om David en Regina in te zegenen om het leiderschap van het gehele zendingswerk over te nemen en voort te zetten. De Heilige Geest die het zendingswerk op het hart van Papa en Mama Maasbach had gelegd, sprak tot David dat hij het zendingswerk moest voortzetten in dezelfde geest en met dezelfde visie en doelstelling als zijn vader gedaan had.
In 1996 ontving David een eregraad en werd: "Dokter in de Godgeleerdheid". Hij gebruikt deze titel als het hem van pas komt bijvoorbeeld als hij een boek schrijft. David is auteur van verschillende boeken en schrijft vele geloofsopbouwende artikelen voor het maandblad Nieuw Leven. In 1997 Haalde de Here God David's vader thuis en moest Hij verder zonder zijn vader. Intussen is het zendingswerk door Gods genade uitgegroeid tot een groot wereldomvattend bolwerk om het evangelie van Jezus Christus op grote schaal te verbreiden. David's broer John TL Maasbach en zijn vrouw Godelieve hebben hier internationaal een groot aandeel in.
