Maandag 25 juli vertrokken we om 12.00 uur uit Helmond en sliepen een stuk voor Rostock in Noord-Oost Duitsland langs de snelweg op een parkeerplaats in de camper. Drie campers op een rijtje! Niet tussen vrachtwagens maar goed in het zicht en het licht.
Dinsdagmiddag 26 juli om 16.30 uur vertrok de Finnlady van Finnlines vanuit de haven van Rostock/Duitsland naar Gdynia/Polen over de Oostzee. Bij de afvaart was het bewolkt, op volle zee werd het een stralende zonnige dag.
Met de Finnlady van Finnlines de Oostzee en de Baltische Zee over.
De camper twee dagen geparkeerd op floor 7.
Het vertrek uit Rostock in de namiddag.
Twee dagen vooral bivakkeren op floor 12.
De Oostzee overdag en bij zonsondergang.
Woensdagmorgen 27 juli: 08.00 uur: aankomst in de haven van Gdynia Polen. We maken met een touringbus die op floor 7 komt gereden een excursie van 08.00-12.00 uur naar Gdynia/Sopot en Gdansk. In de laatste plaats verlaten we met gids de bus voor een rondleiding in deze prachtig gerestaureerde Poolse stad.

Na het vertrek op woensdag om 12.00 uur uit Polen lieten wij ons het ontbijt, lunch en diner goed smaken!

Donderdagmorgen 28 juli: 09.00 uur, aankomst in Helsinki Finland.

Woensdagmiddag 3 augustus tm. maandagmorgen 8 augustus op camping Tornio/Lapland Finland. Als je wilt kun je er elke dag naar de sauna, bij de prijs inbegrepen. Alle Finnen en Anne Cathrien deden dat elke dag ook.
Onze buren op de camping: 5 huskies, 2 katten en 2 eigenaren uit het hoge noorden. 's Nachts sliep het allemaal in de caravan! In de winter staan de honden voor de slee. Daarnaast stond een oud militair die graag een praatje maakte en goed doordronk, achter ons stond een sympathiek echtpaar uit Oost-Finland bij de Russische grens die op familiereunie kwam. Al deze Finnen snapten niet wat we in zo'n duur land kwamen doen. Er was nergens ook maar één buitenlandse krant te krijgen, als je er naar vroeg keken ze je stomverbaasd aan. De wereld had op Finland na kunnen vergaan en we hadden het niet geweten! Terug naar de basics, de rust en de bomen/meren!

Vrijdagmorgen 12 augustus vertrekken we van Stockholm naar Malmo [638 km.] staan daar één nacht op een verregende camping en pakken op zaterdagmorgen 13 augustus de tolbrug over zee naar Denemarken, het laatste stuk via een tunnel onder water. We hebben vergeten dit op de gevoelige plaat vast te leggen, al met ons hoofd thuis?!
